Caroline Harrison Suite

Caroline Harrison Suite

Caroline Harrison, the wife of Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd President of the United States, was an essential figure in initiating many of the traditions still enjoyed by the public today. Harrison was the first inhabitant of the White House to decorate for the holidays and more famously was the originator of the first collection of porcelain that later developed into a White House tradition, and the beloved China Room. Inspired by Harrison, our downtown hotel suite features hints of blue and bone white china and highlights an assortment of decorative porcelain.
