Lincoln Memorial Gets a Secret Underground

Turns out there's a whole world beneath one of DC's most iconic landmarks. On June 25th, the Lincoln Memorial Undercroft opens to the public for the first time, offering 15,000 sq. ft. of immersive exhibit space built into the actual foundation below the memorial. Visitors will be able to explore how the structure was built, trace Lincoln's legacy through American history and see the striking columns that have been hidden from view since 1922. Tickets are required.
